help wont start

ok well i changed the plug changed oil and put fresh gas in my dads ttr250.. it wants to turn over but the engine wont. The gas is getting to the carb so i dont know whats wrong? any ideas?

Are you getting a spark?

Take the plug out and put it back in the boot and then turn the engine over while holding it against the head. It should spark.

Either that or you pulled the boot apart when you removed it, or somehow disconnected the coil from the sparkplug...

If it ran before with the other plug, did you try putting it back in?

mine did the same thing one time after sitting a bit. never actually pinpointed the issue, but after pulling the bowl and spraying carb cleaner on everything it fired right up...

try push starting it ?

check gas, spark, and air. If all else fails bump start it.
