crank case breather tube

removed the stock air box on my son's 2003 XR50 and have all these hoses that come from the top of the crank case.

What's the replacement for all that? Need something like they have for the big bikes.

Do a search for crankcase breather tubes. There have been a lot of posts on this one. Some buy a $20 filter for the end of it. Some just zip tie to the frame. Remember this is an open tube to the case, so some kind of filter is better. There is no mod to make it go to the air box, like stock. Good Luck!! ?

Be careful there. What kind of riding does ur kid do. I did the exact same thing with My sons bike.

I put on a twin air pod style filter and a K&N filter for the breather tube.

Well this past weekend we went riding and he decided to go through a huge puddle, Well, he sucked in some water and Hydro-locked it.

Now when I rebuild, I am putting back on the stock Filter box.
