Durability of Pro-Circuit Valves?

Recommended Posts

I ride a CRF250R and need new valves (again).

Kibblewhite has yet to release their stainless valves for this bike, they're at least a month off.

I know you CRF450R guys have been through similar valve problems as the CRF250R riders are now experiencing.

So, I am wondering if the Pro-Circuit valves are a good way to go, or if I should wait for the Kibblewhite? Any first-hand experience with Pro-Circuit valves?

I talked to Pro-Circuit. They said their valves are better quality and more durable than stock, that they should last 2-4 times longer than stock. They cost $169 per valve.

My last set of stock valves lasted 9 hrs (with one adjustment in that time).

By the way my intake track / airfilter is very clean and I don't over-rev (I'm a vet rider)

Thanks
