XR600 1997

I have a XR600 1997 and my question is:

If someone knows why my XR600 rings after a long ride when it's hot?

Thanks Gill

What do you mean it rings. Pings maybe? If it pings or as we call it pre-detonation you need higher octang fuel. Because the XR600 is air cooled it runs hotter and needs a slower burning fuel. I used to run 92 min octang and boosted it up to 95+ or race gas on hot days.
