preloading

I recently started going to another track and the jumps seem to be a bit longer faced than I would jump at my old track. However, I can't seem to be able to stand up and preload. The only way I could get air is just accelerate really hard up the face sitting down and just get up at the lip, how can stand more? :cry:

if the faces are too long then you have to use the bikes acceleration the preload the suspension. by accelerating on the face you are keeping the suspension compressed. preloading usually works best on jumps with small faces.
