Ride pics

Recommended Posts

Here are a couple of pics I took on Sunday.

The first part of the corduroy trail was fine, it was the second part that was trouble.

Here is a very low quality zoom.

Good ol DRZ started right up, no problem with water at all,

at least not for the bike.

The rest of the pics are here if anyone wants to see.

The splash really woke him up too.

Try to get used to getting little sleep. I went through years

of getting 3-5 hours of sleep, you get used to it.

I hate it when someone puts logs across like that

There is a similar trail here with logs placed like that, the ATV'ers hit them and spin the holes deeper and then the logs float, and you know what that feels like when it moves sideways when it shouldn't.

I took all the logs out and there was no problem, can't understand why they do that

Makes some funny pics though, i am a wuss i would have rode around those and probably got bogged to the fenders

I learned quickly that my DRZ tires hold the dirt well, but they do not grip logs well. Even a little too much gas will land you on your butt. I hate logs too.

As always Kelsow, nice pics. Wish I lived there, would definitely want to join the club. Nothing organized like that here on the Rock. I like that pic on the web page with the hole in the bridge. Good that you don't have a pic of someone down in that one!

The hole and that bridge came out of nowhere. If we were traveling faster.......
