Speedo off on DRZ4s?

any one notice the spedo on 02 drz4s to read higher than actual speed?

i test rode a stock one last night and it seemed to read way higher than i was going. Also noticed a huge lag in the readout. i came to a complete stop and it still had 26mph on the screen.

Something is wrong with that unit,, that is not normal

It could have been that the cable was a little loose from the spedo unit. A couple times my little locknut has been real loose and does that exact thing. But it reading constantly higher all the time wouldn't fall in the same category.
