running lean from factory

my bike popls a little on decelleration so i figure its running a little lean and i herd i just have to adjust the pilot screw but dont know how

The fuel screw (aka pilot screw) is located at the bottom of the carburetor. You might need a mirror to see it, as it is in a recess on the engine side of the carb. Get a short regular screw driver and open it up on 1/4 turn increments. If this helps, then yep you were lean.

You should know though, that a little popping on deceleration isn't necessarily a sign of being too lean. A lot of popping might be a problem, but if it is just occassionally, then you might be OK.

If adjusting the fuel screw doesn't help or it takes more than about 2 1/2 turns out then you may want to go up one size on the pilot jet. I went up to a 45 and it helped alot.
