xr250 missing under load over 3/4 throttle

I have cleaned and dissassembled the carb 4 times and determined the carb is good...no dirt, float correct, main jet and needle clear. Valves are adjusted correctly. Using new plug and boot. I am suspecting CDI but it will rev in neutral to very high RPM (higher than I would ever ride it). What do any of you suggest?

from 3/4 throttle to WFO, the main jet is what controls the majority of the fuel flow. If it bogs, I would assume that it is rich. What size main jet do you have in your carb? What elevation do you do most of your riding in?

this problem just popped up, nothing has changed. All riding is between 500-2000'. It is not a jet size/needle position/altitude/float level/fuel flow problem. Main is a 135. A 140 did not help, I tried it. A 132 (stock) is too lean for the mods. XR's Only also suspects a CDI prob, but possibly the rubber O-ring between the manifold and head may be leaking. I have ordered a CDI from Service Honda for $77, not a bad price.
