Getting rid of ugly reflectors (safely)

I stumbled onto a cool way to eliminate the heavy/ugly and surprisingly ineffective reflectors that come on the dr650. A friend who owns a sign shop showed me some reflective sticker material available in a lot of colors (even black). This stuff reflects like a stop sign border. The stuff is pretty pricey but you only need a small peice. After putting a few stripes of it on the side of the front fender I tested it in my driveway using car headlights. The stickers were superior to the reflectors in every way and at every angle I could test them. I then removed the stock reflectors for a weight savings of ~3/4 of a pound. If I can find 400 more of these weight savings the bike would weigh nothing ? :cry:
