KAWASAKI WINS THE BAJA 1000 O/A FOR 04!

Recommended Posts

Wouldn't that be a sight to see. Especially with this being the last year the KX 500 is in production. Well, for all you Kawai riders who wonder how to do this race, here is the deal. Carlos Orozco of Baja Pits USA is offering bike and quad pits again this year for the Baja 1000. Added to this, they are using the IMS Dry Break systems for bikes/quads as well. Baja Pits USA is offering 17 pits at the low price of $295.00. They are complete with tools, FM radio support from the air, lights and friendly support people who want to see you win and finsh. That comes to one pit every 60 miles. They can also get a break on fuel tanks from IMS if you race with them and need something bigger. Contact Carlos at U.S. Wheels in EL Cajon, Ca., at 619-596-8033. Tell him Stephen from TT referred you. He will also be selling some of his brand new dry break units (stand and unit complete) after this race for the low price of $350.00. He bought 32 units for this race. Lets see a Kawasaki at the top again after all these years of Red being there. GO KAWASAKI!

NOTE: If enough Kawasaki racers wanted to race the 1000 this year, Team kawasaki could probably put something together in the last minute here with Jason Smead of Kawasaki Off Road to contract pits with Baja Pits USA. Then TEAM GREEN could be in the marque again at the finish line. A fitting way to end the Kawasaki KX 500 regin! With 4-6 racers, you too can make this happen. Scatter a few wheels and air filters around the course and go race. A night in Ensenada before the race and a night in La Paz after the race. And the time of your lives racing the BAJA 1000 TO LA PAZ!

GO GREEN!

That's good to hear about Baja, sad about the KX500. Except the service-honda 500 it is one of the last 500's made (if not the last.. does Maico still make theirs?)
