OEM Rear Brake pads

Recommended Posts

Guys,

We are just coming out of our winter here in Oz(and into the dust)and with just 490km I heard that noise that I just wasn't expecting.

Metal on metal at the rear.

Now I have bought some EBC MX-S(comes with replacement pin) to replace the OEM's.

My question are these CRF discs known to be aggressive?

What pads have you tried and still enjoyed the great feel of the OEM's?

Does anyone know who makes the OEM's?

Regards,

Great to be back on a Honda

I used the EBC pads you have and they turned my disk black and squealed like a pig. I think the OEM pads are made by Nissin. Your Honda dealer should sell them. They are more expensive than EBC's, but worth it.

Stick with stock. Anything will wear out in one ride if it's muddy. The only cure is to run a solid disc and your pads will last forever in the mud.

Stay far away from anything that says E.B.C. on it. I have had nothing but trouble with any of there products.

I killed the stock rear pads right quick. I have the Vesra sp)pads in it now. They seem to be way better.
