If your wheel doesn't wiggle (your wheel bearings aren't loose) but you can't turn the bearing with just your fingers does it mean it is time to get new bearings?

Aren't the rear bearings completely sealed? I noticed Pivot Works uses sealed bearings to replace the stock unsealed front wheel Yamaha bearings.

The rear bearings are sealed. If you can't spin the bearing with your finger even after you have cleaned it then it's time to remove & replace. I think that if you wait until your wheel has lots of play in it then you're asking for trouble.

It's good to hear the pivot works front kit uses sealed bearings. Thanks for the info. I just had both wheels off to put new tires on and my front bearings were very dirty. The red marine grease I use was black. The rear set was still clean.
