How loud is a CRFX w/o the baffle?

I'm installing the Twin Air filter, removing the screen, adding the JD jetting kit, removing the air pump, cutting the air box, and removing the baffle.

Will it pass the 96db sound test?

Also, the JD instructions state that the 165 (if I remember correctly) main jet should be installed with these mods. Isn't that a bit rich? Would I be better off with the 160?

I ride with a guy on an 04 Predator with a Big Gun Race series. With my baffle out my CRF250X is nearly as loud. I doubt you'd pass the 96db test. Don't know for sure though. ?

According to the August edition of Dirt Bike Magazine in which they do a pipe shootout for the 250X. Without baffle is 94.06DB.

I have been tested at 95db w/o the baffle. It will be close depending on the day.
