Removed carbon canister???

I just removed the carbon canister on my S. I capped off the vacuum lines and tucked them under the seat. It seems to run fine like that and I plan to keep it that way until I get an E tank, then I will remove the lines completly. My question is: ? by simply capping those lines, will there be any adverse effects that I am not aware of? ? Your knowledge and imput is appreaciated, Thanks. ?

wondered the same after removing the canister. 1000 miles later not a problem to speak of.

Well, I didn't remove the oil blow by box, I dont even know what that is. What happens when I put an "E" tank on it, will that change everything? ?

How is the tank vented ? Not thru the gas cap.Don't you need to leave the line from the tank open to vent ???? ?

nope ? less clutter from the carb to the cannister, thats all ?
