Jerky Clutch

Since new my girl friends ttr125 has had a jerky clutch with no feel it bites at the last minute she is forever stalling it. are all ttr's the same, if so is there a fix?

how old is it? mine did that at first and i either got used to it or it got better but i cant remember the last time i stalled from a start on mine once it was broken in. it just takes some practice haver go somewhere flat and just have her practice taking off thats what i did. dont just tell her to gas it more this had bad results for me.

Dam,

Try adjusting the cable so the "take-up" point of the clutch is closer to the bar.

My sister has a new one and she was having troubles getting the clutch released and timing the throttle increase. After I adjusted the cable to have more slack, she has an easier time reving and releasing together.

If it's old or has been raced, the basket could be notched. I had a problem like that. These baskets are very soft aluminum. Anyone found an aftermarket replacement?
