rpm info

Recommended Posts

Anybody heard of a tachometer that can be hooked to a '03 400S? I'm on stock gearing and I'm always wondering about revving the engine too high when I'm on the road.

Is there a way to calculate the engine speed at any given km/h? And what is the redline on those bike?

thanks!

Hmmm, don't know about redline per say, but it is limited to around 10,000rpm by the cdi. The E is a either 500 or a 1000 rpm higher. It has been said here before that it is fine to rev these engines.
