Hotcams!

Hi, just wanna ask if i install both hot cams will i need to rejet? Its just that i had my carb set up on a dyno and dont want to effect it to much as i wont be able to afford to get it set up again cheers

I did for the one ride I had with them. I found that I became really rich after I installed them and I needed to go leaner.

Dam you guys are quick at replyin. Thanks for your info, has anyone installed them and not rejetted? maybe i have to save some more £££s not $$$s :cry:

If you have already had your bike dialed in then the change should not be much of a problem. I figured it would probably be one step smaller on the main and one clip on the needle would be close.

It was a bit richer after installing a Hotcam intake. Went down one size from a 136 to a 134 and ran the #3 clip on the Dynojet needle and that was good from 3,000 to about 6,500 feet.

I think the Hotcam's greater lift allows a stronger signal to be sent to the carb.
