Hard Terrain Tires OK?

Recommended Posts

I recently tried the briggstone int to hard tires on my drz400. My riding consists of 90% trail, and 10% track in central Ca. They seem to work well. The reason for trying these is because the soft IRC's and soft others throw chunks of rubber off riding on any rocks or hard surface and just dont last. The harder tires seem to last better and although I havent ridden them in mud yet, they seem to do pretty well in soft dirt. Am I so slow that I cant tell the difference or have others found that the Int to Hard terrain tires cross over to soft soil well. Thanks Mike in Modesto

They'll work, just not as good as the softer tires designed for that terrain. Lowering your tire pressure when riding in mud will greatly enhance traction.
