dumb question

I am thinking about buying the wife a ttr125le. I saw a tt125, ttr125l and a ttr125le. I called the guy I bought my two bikes from and he quoted me on ttr125les. What is the difference in a le(s)?

edit. I misread your post... I'm not sure if the (s) means anything at all. There are only the ttr125, ttr125l, and ttr125le models as far as I know.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but:

A TT-R125 is smaller tires with no electric start.

A TT-R125L is larger tires with no electric start.

A TT-R125LE is larger tires with electric start.

Correct. In addition, the L and LE models have front disc brakes. The LE also has adjustable suspension. And the stator is already wound for a headlight if you decide to put one on. My advice, buy the LE. The TTR can be pretty cold-blooded so starting can be difficult. The electric start helps minimize the frustration that comes with learning how to ride. I would have opted for the LE, but it wasn't available when I bought mine.

Maybe he was just posting the model number in plural ?

No it was a TTR125LE. He said the acutal dealer model is a TTR125LES and thats how they tag it. I baught it last weekend. It is a cool bike. Like a toy but funner.
