Foresthill trick & the Georgetown Loamy Treat - Sunday 10/31

Recommended Posts

gotta do the red loam on halloween. With the logging and the snow, probably can do most all the available trails, 40 miles? ,in the morning and be home in the afternoon with plenty time to get ready for the kiddees doing the trick or treat thing..... even a old fashioned kick starting dinosaur bike can do that schedule.

I believe Saturday night at midnight is time change. Good deal as it don't get light till allmost 7 am these days. well me and boomer be up there early say 730 for the morning warm up loop. With the fall back time change, 730 will feel like 8:30. 😢 so even your basic deer hunting DRZ quad riding sleep ins 😢 can come up at 830 and feel like you slept in an hour longer.......

long range forecast says showers for sunday..... have to watch it as the weekend gets closer.....probably afternoon showers cause Sat is gonna be sunny deluxe.

😢 I gotta be back in time! 😢 Wifey would KICK MY @SS! 😢

I really would like to ride and I've got some new stickers I need to show off! Hell, the stickers alone will make me go much faster! 😢

Mud, Roost, Pine Needles, Wet Puddles, Slop, Loop 8? I can't wait! 😢

And I know a dinosaur that needs some fresh meat!🤣

good we did 32 miles last week and we're done by noon. I'll stay all day if i have ride partners , but you can split and

you'll get home in planty time.

remember It's not the stickers, it's the rider!

I'm not a desert racer, just a dual sport guy that digs the tight technical stuff. I'll pick a hilltop, and go there, and then pick another. All day and only 35-40 miles covered, is considered a day that rocks in my book. :thumbsup:I can only wait! 😢

Nice pics!

Yikes, I haven't met you and I can tell we'll be best riding buds! If you tell too many people, then everyone will show up, or is that the idea!

That's a lot of work for a Southerner like me! 😢 Thanks!

well, it does get crowded at the named spots in the spring, but we find our way to the back 9 pretty quick...... Reminds me of what a couple of hot shot surfers I knew in the early seventys said as we walked out to malibu, one guy said hmmm it's pretty crowded today, his buddy said so what, we'll get our waves. They walked way up the beach, paddled past all the rest out to the upper point where the surf was the most radical that 6-8' day in august 1971.

We got our waves! 😢

and we got plenty of good dirt in NorCal. 😢

Two more.

Probably make it up there about 8:00 with Ktown. Unfortunately, we both have a curfew, so can't ride all day.

Saving the all-day ride for Elkins on the 7th. 😢

I'm gonna try to show up too. Are all you guys staging at Sugar Pine? Can some of you describe you rigs so I'll know what to look for? I'll be in a white F350 with a Lance camper and a blue Haulmark trailer. My bike is a white CRF-450 #303.
