2003 yz250f skidplate

Hello everyone! I just bought my first dirtbike after being out of the sport for 15 years. I chose a used yz250f and have been very happy. I have spent the last fews weeks browsing thumpertalk gleaning tons of useful info from you guys. I would like to purchase a skidplate on ebay. Does anyone know if a 2003 yz450f skidplate will also fit my 2003 yz250f? Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!

i dont think so from what i have read from others they are slightly different chassis

but an 01-02 or 03 wr or yzf skid plate should fit your 03.

an 03WR plate has a bigger side to allow for the elctric start

no they don't.

I have a 03-04 450 CF plate sitting at the house that will not fit my 250 ?
