What spring to use?

What spring to use?I had my shock revalved by tace tech,weigh 195 and they said to use the stock 5.5 on my 04 cfr 450.Then i saw a 04 450 in a mag (i cant remember which one)where the revalved a bike made for an 185 pounder and they put on a 5.7.Even their web site says to use a 5.4 for 185.Just wondering why they dont use their own specks?Do as i say not as i do? ?

5.7 or 5.8 will be good.
