Do I need to remove spacer from petcock when mounting clarke?

Recommended Posts

Well , Just finished mounting the clarke tank (pics later) and when I put the petcock , the fuel button (don't know how u call it) was WAY to low , so I removed the spacer and mounted the petcock directly to the clarke.

Is it ok ?!

I just put on a new tank from Clarke and remember the directions saying to leave out the petcock spacer, which I did. The petcock is still lower than with the stock S tank, but it is not too low. 😢

Other than the petcock spacer did you have much trouble mounting the clarke tank? What size tank did you get?

I have the clarke 3.9

The only trouble I had was that the right shrouds hit the radiator protectors and there is no material i can move from the shroud , but it looks ok now.

Another thing is that I wasnt sure where the metal braket suppose to come througth (under the chasis of the bike) so i just connected it where it was easy to do (pics later...)
