I understand there is an area to ride around Holly Springs,MS. Do any of you know anything about it? How to get there from HWY 78?

From Memphis

- east on 78

- take Potts Camp exit

- turn right off of exit

- turn right onto hwy 178 (old 78) You'll see Flicks on your left

- go about a mile past Flicks and take the 1st right you come to

- follow this back and there are 2 main parking areas 661A and 661G

- 661A will be on your left about a mile down

- 661G will be on your left about 2 miles down after Bethany church

- Just follow either one of these until they end.

Note: trails are NOT marked and can be very confusing if

you don't know the place. Easy to get lost.

Like angrytim said the trails are not marked and it is very easy to get lost. Another place worth going is Trace State Park outside of Pontotoc MS. It is twice as far to drive but I think it is more fun.

Thanks for the directions. Is there another place in Holly Springs? I thought Potts Camp was different from what was located in Holly Springs. I have been to Pontotoc. It is fine, just looking for someplace closer to Collierville.

I believe the directions put you in the southern end of Holly Springs state park. Ditto on the trails. Followed some guys from the Memphis Moto Club down there, rode 25+ miles, never had a clue where I was. Decent trails though.

When people talk about riding in Holly Springs they are talking about

Holly Springs National Forest, which using the directions I gave you, will

take you right to it. I ride there alot and can meet you out there some time.

Rode Potts Camp today with my neighbor and his 10yr old son. Some yea-hoo on a quad with his girlfriend/sister and no helmets pulls up and tells us "you f#@!ing dirtbikers need to stay out of here, your tearing the place up." We just smiled and waved as he roosted away before we could reply to him. Other than that the riding was real nice. I would definitly go there again.

A quad person said that to you? That area attracts some real bone heads.

The quads have absolutely destroyed some sections.

DDZMCC, I can meet you there some time. Just let me know.
