1 kick to 5 kicks?

Recommended Posts

So my buddy and I both have yzs but his bike will kick over with only one kick even when its cold and mine is always like 4 or 5. Mine used to be a 2 kicker but it has since declined. I was wondering what is it that allows a bike to kick over first time? I do all my regilar maintenance, I keep it real clean, I pulled the carb apart and cleaned it all and its still hard to start? Whats goin on? 😢

If your temp has changed significantly, then your bike may get a little harder to start. if not, I'd say check your valve clearance as noted above. 😢

Try giving it 3 full twists of the throttle first, with the choke on, then kick. If that doesn't work, try an irridium plug.

You open the throttle when your not kicking if you have let it sit for a couple of weeks, and you only have to once or so.

If you start it every week, there is no need to do that...
