clutch-lever, the same on the two-strokes as on the thumpers?

Recommended Posts

Is the clutch-levers on the Honda CR '04 models the same as on the '04 CRF bikes?

I'm trying to settle some kind of misunderstanding after i returned a lever that did not fit on my '04 CRF450.

It was a "89-2004 CR Lever".

I would assume there different because of the hot start on the CRF's. Brake is the same I'm running a CR brake lever on my CRF.

no they are not the same. the 04's have shorty levers and the spot where they bolt into the perch is much thicker. the first thing i did on my 05 crf450 was put a wc pro perch on with the old style 88-03 lever.

edit. the 04+ cr 2-strokes and the crf 4 strokes are the same. the levers are the same to fit the new "quick adjust" perches. they old stlye levers are different. 89-03 not 04.
