XR650R Rally

I'm picking up a new '03 BRP on Saturday and am planning on building

it into a rally type bike (dual sported, big tank,etc). I've seen many of the

sites dealing with the modifications this machine needs to tune its

suspension and motor. Which tank(s), skid plate and lighting/fairing should

I use and is anybody changing the forks to the crf 450's olin's ?

I just spent 6 months doing the same thing.

Take a look at kay-offroad.com for some info on setting up the bike.

If you want send me an email and i will leet you know what i found works and what doesnt.

Its not hard to convert the BRP to a great rally bike--but for sure its not so easy to get good info on the subject...
