sirthumpalot Posted December 3, 2004 So who uses a hitch mounted bike carrier, and have you ever had any problems related to it? I'm not concerned about the tongue weight (my hitch is rated for 500# tongue weight), but it sure seems like it would put a lot of torque on the hitch due to how far out the weight is carried!? They sell a ton of them so I assume they work fine, just makes me nervous. I'm thinking about getting one to add to my cargo capacity to make more room for the ez-up, generator and fan when carrying more than one bike. 😢 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
