luckyride Posted December 9, 2004 My wife has a 04 250x. I purchased the JD jet kit and install is as directed for elevations between 3000-6000ft. The bike has the air box mod, and a fmf power core 4 silencer with the stock head pipe. When you "crack" the throttle off idle or under a little acceleration it will bog bad enough that it will stall. Please help. The bike is usually used in 50+ degree temps. James_Dean Posted December 9, 2004 In a few cases richer jetting is needed compared to the standard kit setting. Try using a step richer clip position (5th from top) and fuel screw near 2 1/4 turns out from seated. The next choice would be the blue marked needle in the middle clip position.
