Dmacsimum Posted December 9, 2004 I'm just wondering if the RM-Z 450 is shared equipment with Kawasaki like they have done with the RM-Z 250 ? Sakawi 450? Dennis
vintageyz Posted December 9, 2004 No, not at all. The RMZ450 is developed by Suzuki only.
drjack Posted December 9, 2004 Actually the correct name for this bastard hybrid is Susaki. Kawazuki is also acceptable at times. 😢
ZITZITRACER Posted December 9, 2004 There are some pics in the Jan DB mag. And they said its a solo effort by Suzuki because the Joint effort wasn't very good one. The pics still show the hot start button on the carb. I've seen other pics with the hot start near the gas cap. Does anyone know if the ber clamps will be adjustable on the RMZ450? None of the specs i've seen so far mention anything about them.
Dmacsimum Posted December 10, 2004 Thanks fellers for the replies. I was hoping Suzuki wouldn't be so scared and "Just do it" on their own! I'm still thinking YZ450F though for me........ Ltr, Dennis
OldBrokeBikeless Posted December 10, 2004 Actually the correct name for this bastard hybrid is Susaki. Kawazuki is also acceptable at times. 😢 Motocross Madness video game has Kawazuki as a bike option! 😢
PumkinFest Posted December 14, 2004 Nope, the RMZ is all Suzuki, no help from Kawasaki this time.
PumkinFest Posted December 14, 2004 Motocross Madness video game has Kawazuki as a bike option! 😢 That because the bikes they use are unlicenced with Kawasaki.
