dan598 Posted December 15, 2004 Any of you put in a hot cam or other. Have your old ones laying around? I was changing bearings on my stock cams and forgot the spacer in my alignment press. Jeeese. Crack, POP. Should have never attempted it so early in the morning.. Finding a stock gear has been a nightmare. Both intake and exhaust use the same gear. All the shops i called locally, say to post on forums and search for a used cam to strip. Yamaha don't sell just the gear. Got to be people that have one laying around with all the mods out there.
