tagelus Posted December 15, 2004 I Would Like Some Feedback On Which Clutch Plates To Buy. I Have No Real Issues With The Stock Set Up But I Would Like To Know About Aftermarket Positives And Negatives. Thanks.

therapture Posted December 15, 2004 Oem clutch plates are a whole lot better than the aftermarket ebc plates I tried. I can say, EBC clutch kits suck. I went round and round....slippage under heavy loads reagrdless of what oil, springs, etc. were in there. OEM works GREAT. However, I got in a pinch two weeks ago at the track and had to get another one, I shied away from the EBC...he had a Ferrodo kit in stock...I tried it with the express approval of returning it if it slipped. So far it has about 5 hard rides on it and is working great. It was an OEM replacement kit complete with fibers, steels, and springs.
