riphonda Posted December 15, 2004 Hey fellow yz'ers and wr'reres or something like that. I just got a trailtech stand for my yz250f and was surprised that the foot on the bottom of it is plastic. Anyone with one of these stands have a problem with the plastic breaking? It looks kind of flimsy to me. Reason im asking is i have some scrap aluminum and was considering welding a real foot on it so it doesnt break while im on the trail otherwise why have it on the bike right? Otherwise the stand is sweet! Thanks.
mxcowboy Posted December 15, 2004 I have one on my 426 and about ready to get one for my son's 250f. I've had mine for at least a year now with one problem, the pivot bolt broke once but replaced it and no problem since.
seredyns Posted December 15, 2004 I have had one on my 03 YZ250F for about a year with no issues. I thought it looked kind of flimsy also but it has been fine. The kickstand is excellent and I highly recommend it.
