PozoRider Posted December 16, 2004 With all the riding area closures our club, the Central Coast Motorcycle Assn. has decided to aquire some club land. I would be interested in hearing how other clubs have gone about doing this. Thanks, Rich
husky1360 Posted December 16, 2004 Call up a timber company in your area. Money talks. just a thought.
PozoRider Posted December 16, 2004 We're located on the Central Coast of California, half way between LA and San Francisco. There is no logging and land is very expensive, about 1.6 million for 600 acres. Rich
drjack Posted December 16, 2004 Check out www.siouxvalleycycleclub.com and email them. I belonged to that club for awhile. They have quite a bit of property and I'm sure will help you if they can.
jim-in-so-ore Posted December 16, 2004 Here in Oregon we have ATV sticker funds and ohv gas taxes which are both in a fund for OHV use. Our club (www.motorcycleridersassoc.org) has utilized these fund to construct trail on our club property and also to expand our properties. We now have 286 acres. 106 of these were purchased with OHV funds, the original 180 was purchased over 25 years ago before ATV stickers. Jim
