Front fork compression adjustment?

I realize this is a stupid question, but where the heck is the adjustment screw for this? (I have a 05 WR250) There is a hand drawn picture in the owners manual that looks like Jeffy from "Family Circus" did the art work. I can't tell what I'm looking at in the diagram. Is it on the very bottom of the fork facing the ground?

with the twin chamber forks, the compression it on top (labeled COMP)

The rebound is on the bottom. Essential the forks are flipped internally compared to last years models and there is a seperate air/oil chamber built into the forks.

I don't think the WR's come with the twin chamber forks yet. The compression adjustment screw should still be under the rubber plug on the bottom of the forks.

right, the 05 wr's got the 04 yzf forks.

I'm still not 100% sure if the 05 WR has the twin chamber forks or not.

A Yamaha rep told be they do but he didn't seem too smart.

The 05 wr's got the 04 forks used on the yzf's. They did not get twin chamber forks.

Right you are Wrookie and YZ250F Rider! I found it on the bottom of the forks. But you'd never know it looking at the diagram in the owner's manual! Thanks guys! The adjustment was very easy and made a noticable difference.

You think the manual is confusing for those forks. Ha! try checking out the illustrations for the new yzf forks. Man it will twist your brain everything is completely upside down from what you are used to. 😢
