Anyone done a normal track day on a duke?

Not the dirt stuff obviously but thinking of popping down to brands hatch next year and see how i get on with the sporties.

Anyone done it on a duke? (track day that is ? )

I've done it at Grattan Raceway in Michigan, USA. Grattan is a notoriously tight and bumpy track, and the Duke rocked 'round that track. I even had the corner worker applauding everytime I backed 'er in at the hairpin. ?

Crank down on the rebound front and rear to calm the pogo-ing. As long as the track is relatively tight and twisty and the straightaway isn't too long, you won't give up much.

Best part of my experience was passing my friend on his very trick Ducati Monster, 'round the outside of an off camber turn, with my foot out. This particular friend had been bitching and griping about my interest in supermoto, so he got one of these ? as I went past. ? ( I couldn't find the middle finger icon).

I actually look forward to several more "big" track rides in 2005.
