digitaldan Posted December 17, 2004 I'm want to buy the DRZ something for Christmas and these levers look pretty sweet but I'm not sure whether they will work with the switchgear in place as they are pretty short (the levers themselves). Also I'm installing some Rally pro's and the shorter levers will really help in fitting the guards, on previous bikes I have had the stock levers touching the guards. Anyone else run ASV ? Worth the price tag ?
Erik Marquez My Rides (5) Posted December 17, 2004 Once you put on quality hand guards,, the ASV type lever is really no longer needed. I crash ,,,,,a lot 😢 and have not broken a lever since the day I installed hand guards,, even when I was running the banana peel, bend O matic Pro Rally 😢
hardrider Posted December 18, 2004 I'm running the F1s. Pretty decent value considering the other options. Only hiccup I encountered was the light switch block got in the way of the reach adjusting screw when trying clutching in. Swopped the big screw for a smaller one. Problem pretty much solved 😢 As Bronco said, you would need either the levers or handguards.... Unless you just HAVE to put everything on the bike 😢
digitaldan Posted December 18, 2004 .... Unless you just HAVE to put everything on the bike 😢 That's the thing 😢
hardrider Posted December 18, 2004 Then you have ABSOLUTELY NO CHOICE but to get them both 😢
