Help! Front Sprocket Change

Recommended Posts

Ok, changed my front sprocket to a 14 tooth a few weeks ago. Finally get to ride this weekend. I saw a post a few weeks back asking which direction the "flange" on the sprocket faces. But I can't find the post and I can't remember the answer. Help, I'm paranoid I put it on backwards and I want to check before taking it out tomorrow. 😢

Just checked. Smooth side out, flange is facing the engine. Is this correct?

I'm thinking it is.

Thanks Sharpie. Thanks Rookie. 😢

Loading the bike up now. I'm dying to try out my new MT21s and 14/47 combo. 😢

I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight, this is better than Christmas.

Did the change about 1 month ago on my 03S. Also runnin' 14/47 and mt21s. Big difference from stock setup. You'll love it in the dirt. 😢 I'm still trying to manage the beast 😢
