Terraflex Tire

Was Wondering If Anyone Is Running The Terraflex On Thier 650. I Have An '03 And Currently Have A Dunlop 606 It Is A 130 And The Terraflex Is A 140. Was Wondering If It Will Fit And How It Does.

I think it will fit. ? The usual grief is the chain rubbing. Did a local dealer have it or are you ordering it?

I ordered one of these bad boys for my 98 DR 650. Awesome looking tire , huge knobs. Unfortunately after putting it on the rim there is no way it will fit the wheel onto the swingarm. The tire is both to wide and the knobs to high that it will not fit. Shaving some rubber off was not an option.

You'll have to look for a different tire. I returned mine to the distributor for a refund.

I have 1998 DR650 and have the Terra Flex Mounted. It wasn't easy but you have to add links to the chain which I just replaced with a new RK. This allowes you to move the rear rim back allowing the terra monster to clear the front of the swingarm. Then you need to shave the knobs on the right side of the tire. This lets the tire clear the right side of the swing arm. This whole job took about 4 hrs start to finish. After putting about 250 miles on it I wouldnt trade it for any other tire. I will put some links to pictures so you can see it on the bike and in action ?

I Haven't Found One Yet. Don't Need A Tire Yet, But Still Checking Out Options. I Wanted To Try Out A Few Different Brands Before Next Years La-vegas.
