MXDUP Posted December 19, 2004 I am installing a glide plate on my 03 and 05 yz250f. Do you guys recommend using the foam cushion they send. I guess it helps keep mud from accumulating, but won't it make it harder to wash mud and debri out? Let me know if you have tried it out.
Karen2ray Posted December 19, 2004 I have one on my 03 WR 250 they fit excellent us the foam or you will get a vibration noise/echo from your motor. Also use lock tight on all bolts and screws. The only thing it is a pane to change oil, as oil will run on it and sit there.
FPMX_74 Posted December 20, 2004 Spend a few bucks and get the ManFunnel. It will save you from removing the glide plate to wipe off all the oil. I use it all the time and it works great.
