Fork Brace - Long term test

I purchased my 01' DRZ kicker off-road bike with lots of aftermarket parts already installed. One of the parts is the SCR Fork Brace. It's always been on the bike. Well, Saturday I had to remove it because it was hitting my new front fender. We road 80 miles all off-road through the California desert, mostly 3rd and 4th gear fast riding, hoops and sand. I am very well in-tune with my bike, I do notice little changes to jetting, suspention setting, etc...

At the end of the day, I could not tell any difference in the performance of the forks or handling without the fork brace. I will probably not put the brace back on because of not wanting to add even a little weight to the front end.

Supermoto may be a different story.

It has to be hard to flex these forks. I would say the brace is worthless unless your in alot of mud ruts that pull hard??? But I don't ride much mud so:excuseme:
