i was pulling off the subframe/airbox last nite on my '05 and just as the boot slipped off the carb, i hear a soft *ping*...and this thin washer rolls out from underneath the swingarm and comes 2 rest at my feet. now it doesn't appear 2 be a crucial part, but nonetheless, i'd like 2 know where it came off. i'm new to honda's, so i thought i'd consult the experts:worthy:

goes between the muffler and subframe at the rear mount.

Hmmm..........I had the same issue. It fell out when removing my subframe. But, I figured it went between the subframe and pipe, the lower mount bolt. Maybe I need to research my service manual.?
