Draining oil when replacing piston?

when replacing the piston/taking off the cylinder, do I need to drain the oil? Don't really know where it keeps the oil when not running...:cry:

might be a stupid question...but thanks anyway:)

:cry: you do not need to drain the oil..you do have to drain your coolant though..good luck...btw..order a couple of crush washers for your oil line to replace the old ones :cry:

ok...thanks alot:applause: so I cant reuse the washers on the oil line?...well...guess I can afford some of those:cool:
