what a local shop said...

Recommended Posts

I called a local shop about some questions I had about a couple of things... and on a question about jetting they told me that I would basically be wasting my time changing the main jet and pilot on my crf150.

He said all I should have to do is change the clip position.

It seems everything I have been reading on this site says otherwise. I was planning on attempting to rejet for the first time after pulling the snorkel out and removing the baffle.

Do you think I could get by with just changing the clip position???

If I do end up doing this myself I may have to log on and ask for guidance if I hit a rough spot in the process.

Thanks for any input you have.

Kristin

Even more noticable is that if you uncork the bike and do not re-jet, your bike will run poorly. Any throttle positions beyond 1/2 and the engine will just fall on its face with a noticable decrease in power. You will instantly realize something is not right !!
