Burned,, I take it you do not weld your cranks.

Opinion on Yes or no? Bike Vs Quad?

i do not.quad i probably would.they are subjected to much higher loads than a bike.

it takes a 70 ton press to dissassemble a 4 stroek crank.they are pretty damn tight.

I had to weld the crank on my quad(banshee)....never had a problem with any of my bikes though.

Just out of curiosty, why did you strip it down.

Thats from a couple years ago when I did the race tech suspenion component install. The bike is in 1 piece right now.

hey,at least your motor is still in the frame and in one peice.

Yea right now anyways :cry::cry:

This year on the drz involves: Changing back over to dirt from supermoto. Valve check is on the list. Custom skid plate is on the list. TT graphics on the list. More drastically... I'm going to tune in that race tech suspeion. I want to go about 30% stiffer on the high speed compression stack for the shock. She just can't soak up the big landings enough as she is. Ofcourse the front will be adjusted to match.

That's a familiar sight. Tore mine down last night, and looks identical, only yellow. I'm just off to have my shock and forks serviced. Having new springs for my weight installed. Tera-flex arrived this morning. Just about the biggest knobs I ever saw. Hard to believe it's a DOT tire.

I'm still waiting to see the stripped bike, that one had way too much stuff still on it :cry:

This is what I consider stripped:
