How much weight savings is there going from a stock WR400F exhaust to a stock YZ400/426F exhaust? Does the power change at all? Is there a difference in loudness?

I'm gonna pull this one out of my butt....

You'll save around 3-4 pounds and the YZ will only be a couple of DBs louder. An uncorked WR400 pipe is not much quieter than a stock YZ pipe.

the yz pipe is much lighter but I'm not sure how much. You will definetly notice a power increase but you will need to bump up your main jet.

The WR exhaust w/out silencer weighs 7lbs and the YZ is 5.5lbs. FWIW.

Ok, was a hunch. I know you had all the measurements for everything on your bike, figured you'd have an idea on this one. I bet your WR is the lightest one in the forum, mine is one of the heaviest. ? I just keep adding stuff, my FMF powercore was my first "lightening" mod I made since my aluminum handlebars and I'm not sure the thick walled AL ones were lighter than the steel ones. ?
