I need some input on suspension

And yes, you will need new springs! As far as a re-valve........hard to say (not knowing what was done to it previously or by whom), but probably would be worth having it looked at while they were in there. If it is stock valving, then by all means have them re-valved if you can afford it. If not, just get re-sprung and "serviced" for now and re-valve later.

Oh, and keep checking the suspension forum........I'm sure you will get responses there as well.............just not as many members "frequent" that forum. Maybe someone will know about the specific companies you asked about.

I have given both Faultline and aftershocks a call.

If the previous owner of my bike had the suspension sprung and revalved for his weight of 250lbs, and then I come in and just lighten up the springs is there anything wrong with that??
