Handlebars

Recommended Posts

Well, I've been riding my KX250F for about a month now, and I love it. I haven't ridden in a few years, and I know I'm out of shape, but for some reason my hands hurt more than they ever have before. I'm wondering if it's because I still have the stock steel bars? Will some alloy Renthals soften it up a little? I expect some arm pump, but the way my hands feel after riding really has me wondering. TIA

Somtimes its Grips and somtimes its Bars, The Ultimate would be A pair of FASST Bars, but another good solution would be a pair of pro tapers, they flex alot.

Could be the shape or hardness of your grips. Could be the bars are too short for you, making you place more weight on your hands than you should. Could be you're hanging on too tight

Also try different lever positions, they should be pointing down about 15-30 degrees, depending on what feels comfortable for you.
