help seized bearing

went to replace my wheel bearings 2 easy....

tap, tap ,tap one comes out

tap ,tap,tap half bearing comes out the outer casing is seized

what do i do

:cry: cant ride this weekend :cry::cry:

What you are saying is that the outer race of one bearing is frozen inside the hub?

If so, you can put some penetrating oil, or something similar on it and allow it to help free up the race. If that doesn't work, you might apply a little heat with a propane torch to the outside of the hub. If all else fails, you can very carefully cut out the race with a dremel tool, but be careful and go slow.

Glad to help. I know it gets frustrating, but try and go slow. If you use heat, be careful not to discolor the hub. I'm guessing you ride in water to have a race seize like that, but it probably won't be very hard to get out.

trying some spray to penetrate the corrosion

i stoped riding trails about 6-8mths ago now only do mx really
